The difference being that the \u2018scientist\u2019 will theorise on a structure and then check to see if that theory exists. A phenomenologist on the other hand, will let the event run its course and then only comment on the experience of the event. Basically, phenomenology can be understood as the study of the various structures that make up experience be it perception, thought, memory, imagination, emotion, desire, and volition to bodily awareness, embodied action, social activity, etc (Davidson, 2025).
